Reading Galileo thermometer's temperatures

Galileo thermometers are very old invention of a device which measured the atmospheric temperature earlier. At that time surely people use to guess the atmospheric temperature or humidity. But a guess work not sufficient enough and then the famous scientist Galilei Galileo introduced this invention of his. Galileo thermometers were introduced in the seventeenth century. These thermometers follow the gravitation principal on which it works. The working concept of these Galileo thermometers is same for the old as well as for the new ones. The Galileo thermometers are decorative glass tubes filled with multi colored balls. The balls are the main object which helps to calculate the atmospheric temperature.

These balls have the numeric digits tagged with them. The atmospheric temperature was decide to be that much, how much the tags use to contain or written on them. The Galileo thermometers require special cleaning and servicing from time to time for provide an accurate temperature amount. The Galileo thermometers should be kept away from the direct sun light and heat rays. The reading of the atmospheric temperature is very easy on these Galileo thermometers. Whenever the colorful balls sink in the bottom of the glass tube it means the temperature is comparatively hot and if the balls float upwards to the brim of the tube that means the temperature cold.
